Store bought almond milk is basically almond water with added ingredients. Making almond milk at home is fast, easy, inexpensive, healthy and delicious and it’s only two ingredients.

1 cup soaked raw almonds (over night)
4 cups water
Soak your raw almonds overnight.
Drain and rinse the soaked almonds.
Add the almonds to your blender with 4 cups of filtered water.
Blend until all almonds have been basically puréed.
I place my nut bag into a one gallon pitcher then pour the almond milk into the bag and then I squeeze the bag until almost all of the liquid is out leaving a ball of pulp. (Don’t throw the pulp away, make crackers / croutons)
Store milk in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Separation is natural with fresh nut milk, so give it a stir or shake before using.
